Bentiempo reconstructs historical weather by aggregating data from up to 8 independent weather providers, spanning reanalysis models, ground station networks, and commercial blended sources.

Each provider's observations are normalised to a common format, then combined using evidence-weighted consensus — a statistical method that gives more weight to higher-quality data sources for each specific metric.

Every result includes a confidence score (0–100) reflecting provider agreement, data coverage, and source diversity, so you can see exactly how trustworthy each value is.
